Directions to Mosetlha Bush Camp & Eco Lodge

Madikwe Game Reserve is located in South Africa’s North West province, with Botswana at its northern border. It is about three-and-a-half to four hours’ drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria,  to Rustenburg and onto Zeerust or alongside the Pilanesberg.

We recommend that you drive via Rustenburg/Pilanesberg and enter Madikwe through the Molatedi Gate in the south of the park. This trip is on tar roads, with only the last 9.5 kilometres before you reach the gate on gravel. Your journey will take you through many villages, and you will need to watch out for animals such as cows and goats, which are often on the roads.

Once you come in the gate, you will be directed to the North West Parks Board’s offices, where you will park and leave your car. You will be collected in a game-viewing vehicle and taken to Mosetlha, about ten minutes’ drive away.
